Ray Champ

As the 2010 rodeo season comes to a close, Ray would like to thank all the committees and contestants that made this year memorable. 

Ray has retuned to many of his favorite rodeos and added some new ones.  He was excited to be invited to Sturgis, Cody, Rosebud and Havre.

Ray would like to wish all of his friends "GOOD LUCK" as the season closes.

For the third consecutive year, Ray was honored to return to the Indian National Finals Rodeo . 

This year Ray was joined at the INFR by his friend, 8 time World Champion Tie Down Roper, Joe Beaver.

Joe was available all week, giving inspirational speeches, signing autographs and co-announced the rodeo.

Ray, his wife Jimi and son Talvin live on the family ranch at Seville Flats, Montana.  Along with announcing, they raise cattle and quarter horses. 

Ray started this business out of pure love for the sport of rodeo.  He is a former bullrider, turned team roper and his wife, Jimi competes in the barrel racing and breakaway roping. Through their competition and work with the cowboys and cowgirls throughout the US and Canada, they have created lasting friendships with many people along the way.
